Happy Confident Me
Individual Interventions are a course of sessions (usually 6-12 sessions) focused on a specific area, agreed between you and our practitioner. We use the sessions to explore cognitive distortions, challenge unwanted patterns and behaviours, and co-construct strategies to implement. Sessions are personalised and tailored to each individual and their unique needs. Our Practitioners are qualified to work with a variety of people and problems including phobias, anxiety, self-esteem and sensory processing.
While many interventions are 1:1, it is sometimes appropriate to have small group sessions to support children who share similar presentations.
How do we get started?
We follow a staged approach to assessments so we can review the appropriateness of the pathway as we learn more about your child and family. If at any stage our Practitioners think a different approach would be beneficial then we will discuss this with you. We start with a short telephone with a Practitioner who will have a brief background discussion with you and answer questions about the process.
Get in touch with the team if you have any questions or would like to book an appointment.
