About Us
What is a Child Psychologist?

After spending years in the public sector, Dr Pippa Busch realised that she could make a difference in a new way... and so, The Child Psych was formed!
Born out of a desire to create a compassionate environment, where everyone is treated as an individual and care can be tailored, The Child Psych has built an experienced team who share a passion for supporting children and families.
A child psychologist - also known as an educational psychologist (EP) - is a registered health professional who supports the development and emotional wellbeing of young people.
At The Child Psych, our team of trained EPs work to build personalised wellbeing plans that support young minds through their growth journey. With young people at the forefront, we collaborate and work with parents, carers, schools, nurseries and other professionals.
The Child Psych Journey
The Child Psych Approach
We begin with a telephone call to understand a bit about you, your young mind, and answer any questions.
Following this, if you'd like to visit The Child Psych for an initial consultation, you can come in, get comfy, and have a comprehensive talk with us.

From here, our multi-disciplinary practitioners will develop a bespoke pathway for your child and family. We design personalised, evidence-based support, and discuss it with you at every step.

We never let our young minds face their journey alone - it's what makes The Child Psych stand out, we're here for you and your family every step and thereafter.
What Makes Us Special?
